Founder

VIM Solutions was created from a passion for the HIM world. Ms. Colom has always navigated different pathways, growing and challenging the status quo that stemmed from a desire to help all parties involved to collaborate effectively. She has earned her Master of Science in Health Information Management and online graduate certificate in Online Instruction from the College of St. Scholastica and a certificate in Effective Teaching Practice Framework from the American Council on Education (ACUE). She comes with over 20 years' experience in the HIM world, from abstracting, auditing, leadership, curriculum design and education. Currently holds the following credentials Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and is a member of AHIMA and IFHIMA.
